Expanding Our Range of Expandable Safety Barriers
At The Ramp People we are excited to announce we have recently expanded the number of extendable safety barriers available to include our new aluminium barriers.
Provided with a professional finish, the barriers are ideal for those seeking a mobile barrier that is quick and easy to deploy and highly visible. Manufactured from aluminium with a plastic coating, they offer a professional finish to fit in with commercial environments, making them perfect for use in offices, business parks, retail areas and within the hospitality sector.
Provided on wheels, the barriers can quickly be extended to cover your area. In addition, they are all provided with a lock and key to allow you to securely connect multiple units together to cover larger areas when needed.
Designed to enhance safety and restrict pedestrian access, extendable safety barriers are perfect for creating temporary exclusion zones, highlighting hazards, or guiding foot traffic.
What are expandable safety barriers?
Expandable safety barriers are portable, extendable barriers designed to temporarily restrict access and improve safety. They can be quickly expanded to cover an area and collapsed for easy storage when not in use with many options available on wheels. Some expandable barriers are lightweight and designed for indoor use only, whilst others are heavier and commonly used outdoors.
What are expandable barriers used for?
Expandable barriers are used across a range of sectors. They are often used for the below:
- Marking off areas when cleaning is occuring or has recently occurred
- Restricting access during maintenance and construction works
- Highlighting hazards
- Controlling the flow of pedestrian traffic in busy areas
- Restricting pedestrian access to off-limit areas on site during events
- Restricting access to areas in the warehouse
Where are pedestrian barriers used?
Pedestrian barriers are used across a wide range of sectors, from hospitality and retail to construction sites, schools, hospitals and public buildings.
Can expandable barriers be used outdoors?
Yes, many expandable barriers can be used outdoors, always check the barrier description. For outdoor use, we would suggest selecting a metal barrier or a plastic water-filled barrier. Note, in general barriers should not be left outside in extreme winds.
